Hyundai Safe Drive Program comprises of:

Can you tell me more about this 24/7 Roadside Assist programme?
The 24/7 Roadside Assist program provides all Hyundai owners assistance in the unfortunate event of:
- Accident (Major / Minor)
- Vehicle breakdown
- Stalled engine
- Punctured tyre
- Engine overheating
- Vehicle malfunction
- Weak or faulty battery
- Owner's negligence

Does the 24/7 Roadside Assist program include towing services?
Yes. The 24/7 Roadside Assist program include towing services if you need it.
Do I have to pay to be eligible for the 24/7 Roadside Assist program?
24/7 Roadside Assist program will be provided free ONLY for vehicles insured under Hyundai Authorized Panel Insurer at Hyundai Authorized Sales Outlet or Service Center and it must be a comprehensive insurance.
Are all Hyundai vehicles covered by the 24/7 Roadside Assist program?
Only vehicles registered for private usage are covered by this program. Truck or vehicle used for commercial purposes (hire and drive, taxi, driving school and others) are not covered by this program.
Can I still be covered by the 24/7 Roadside Assist program if my vehicle is currently not insured by a Hyundai Authorized Panel Insurer?
Yes, but services requested are chargeable.
Are the towing services chargeable?
All towing is complementary up to RM400 unless there are additional services that you require beyond the service offered as listed in the exclusion list below:
- Any expenses (towing and/or minor roadside repair) directly paid to any third party, telephone charges, taxi fares, toll charges, labor charges and/or repairs rendered to the Vehicle incurred by the workshop, the cost of parts, replacement keys, fluids, lubricants, or petrol, non-emergency.
- Towing or service; a second tow; service on a vehicle that is not in a safe condition to be towed or serviced including towing out of basement/rooftop parking, drain, river, beach, muddy area, divider, stuck in pothole, towing from a workshop to another workshop or that may result in damage to the vehicle if towed; services received independently from tow truck operator without prior authorization from Insurer; repeated service calls for a covered vehicle in need of routine maintenance or repair.
- Other exclusions include breaks down, minor roadside repair or accident occurred in any non-gazetted road, vehicle without valid road tax disc displayed, without mechanical part such as engine, transmission or tyres, lowered vehicle, for disposal, fresh from spray-painting, vehicles modified for racing, trials, rallying or participating in such activities, vintage cars and all types of sports and high-performance models and beyond territorial limit of Peninsular Malaysia including Penang, Langkawi and Labuan and beyond 25km of the East Malaysia cities of Kuching, Sibu, Miri, Bintulu,KK, Sandakan, Lahad Datu, Tawau and Semporna.
Where will my vehicle be towed to?
The vehicle will be towed to the nearest Hyundai Authorized Service Dealer or Hyundai Authorized Body & Paint workshop.
What is the geographical coverage for Automobile and Roadside Assist program?
The service is available in Malaysia (excluding Malaysian islands). However, similar service will be rendered to customers in Penang, Langkawi and Labuan.
Does the program cover breakdown that occurs at the customer's residence other than during a journey?
Yes, both breakdown incidents either at the customer's residence or during the journey are covered.
Can I tow my vehicle to a service center of my choice?
You are allowed to choose any Hyundai Authorized Service Center nationwide. However, additional charges will be applied for towing to Hyundai Authorized Service Center exceeding the RM400 coverage. Towing to non-authorized service centers is strictly prohibited as services performed may void the warranty coverage on your vehicle.
What other services are included in the 24/7 Roadside Assist program?
Hyundai 24/7 Roadside Assist program also provides services such as:
- Arrangement of vehicle rental with Sime Darby Rent-A-Car Sdn Bhd (HERTZ), subject to availability.*
- Arrangement of hotel accommodation at the nearest location; pending completion of repairs.*
- Arrangement to contact nearest police station, hospital or fire brigade due to accident or vehicle breakdown.*
*3rd Party charges are applicable, and user is required to make payment directly to the 3rd party service provider engaged.

Depending on traffic conditions, the provider should arrive within an hour for major towns.

24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
How many times am I covered for towing / Roadside Assist service?
One towing per event. Unlimited events.
Do you handle accident cases?
Yes.
What happens if I have a flat tyre?
Our service provider will assist to replace the flat tyre with the vehicle's spare tyre.
What if my car battery went flat?
Our 24/7 Roadside Assist personnel will attempt to jump-start your battery. Customers are then advised to drive to the nearest Hyundai Authorized Service Center for proper diagnosis.
